"To being neighborly, taking care of public spaces, having some fun, enjoying each other, shaking out of the isolation and division that have crept too deeply into our lives."

Springtime at Gather
Spring is our season of full bloom, and somehow, always our busiest. No matter what we plan, this season fills itself: Earth Day, teacher appreciation, Spirit Week, camping, field day, and the pure liberation of just being free together. By Spring, we know each other deeply...and it shows. We paint together, read together, play together, challenge one another, and move through our days in a harmony that still surprises us every year. Start a Club!
Some of the mothers of Gather decided this spring to hang out virtually once a month cooking together with their children. Cookbook Club was born. They tested, critiqued and tweaked recipes via zoom. The kids turned measuring into math lessons and experienced the science of making buttermilk out of vinegar and cream.
